For Families

Do you have a loved one trapped in the grip of addiction or held in the bondage of a life-controlling issue?

We understand: Sometimes the pain is unbearable. As much as we love that spouse, son, or daughter, we just can’t do it anymore…we just can’t. The treatment-relapse-remorse-promises cycle has cost us thousands of dollars, sleepless nights, and a psychological-emotional pain that has dominated every hour of every day.

But, there is hope: the promise of a “new heart with new and right desires, and a new spirit.” (Ez. 36:26)

We are here for you

Sadly, too many parents have isolated themselves from the essential support and ministry they so desperately need because they blame themselves for the choices their addicted son or daughter has made. Locked inside a “shame prison” they are unable to find the help and support critical to their own healing and that of their loved one.

We can help. New Heart Monday Nite offers a Families of the Addicted Group specifically designed for parents, spouses and other family members coping with the realities of their addicted loved one.

Sustainable Freedom

Recovery in whatever modality you may choose, is essentially about freedom. Not freedom for a while, but sustainable freedom: freedom from the controls of addiction that lasts a lifetime.

Come join a community of men and women who are discovering for themselves that the amazing promise of a new heart with new and right desires and a new spirit can be their promise, their reality.

For Families

New Heart Monday Nite Families of the Addicted Group

New Heart Ministries offers families of the addicted a safe place wherein they can experience God’s healing grace, and an invaluable emotional and spiritual support.  New Heart Monday Nite is a Christ-centered recovery ministry presented from 7 to 9 PM each Monday evening at Westgate Chapel in Edmonds, Washington.  The New Heart Families of the Addicted Group is a relationally warm group of men and women finding emotional and spiritual support, teaching, and the ability to share honestly and openly without fear of reprisal.

Affordable

In an effort to make New Heart Place Men’s and Women’s programs accessible to those desperate for healing and freedom, the fees for the program are affordable and all-inclusive:

  • ^$1500 One-Time Induction Fee: Includes a personalized program binder, curriculum, background check fees, urinary analysis fees, and ancillary fees associated with personal hygiene needs, bedding, towels, etc.
  • ^$600 a Month Program Fee: Includes board and room, special activities fees (retreats, conferences), transportation, and other special needs.

Deferred Payment Program

For those applicants and their families unable to pay the Induction or Program Fees, the Deferred Payment Program offers a “student-loan-like” opportunity to defer payment of fees until the student begins his part-time employment in Phase Three.

Visitation

Following a thirty-day “blackout period” families are invited to visit their student at New Heart Place on Sunday afternoons.  In addition, families are welcome to connect with their student on Sundays, Monday (New Heart Monday Nite) and Tuesday (Corporate Prayer Meeting) evenings.

Married Students

Married students entering Phase Three will be offered marriage resources and marital counseling from a professional Christian marriage and family counselor.  In addition, depending on the student’s progress, married couples will be given the opportunity to be together overnight.
