New Heart Place
Some Things you should know
While it is our heart to open New Heart Place to all that may come to us, we regrettably are unable to offer admission to the following unless those applicants are willing to consult their physician as to the feasibility of a “step-down” program.
- ^Those applicants on a program of suboxone, methadone, or Antabuse.
- ^Those applicants dependent on psycho-tropic pharmaceuticals.
Because the New Heart Place community is a family of brothers and sisters, any applicant discerned to be a threat to the safety of that family will be referred to a program more appropriate to their unique needs.
Applicants actively using their “drug of choice” at the point of their interview may be asked to complete a reputable detoxification program.
Application Process
Step One: Obtain Your Application
You can obtain an application by downloading it online, picking up an Application Pack at our Westgate Chapel office, or requesting one to be mailed by calling (425) 775-2776 or emailing jbrooks@westgatechapel.com.
Step Two: Submit Your Application
Email your completed application to: jbrooks@westgatechapel.com. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call us at (425) 775-2776.
Step Three: Interview Scheduling
After receiving your application, the New Heart Place Administrator will contact you to schedule an interview with the Executive Director and the appropriate Resident Director (Men’s Home or Women’s Home).
Step Four: Prayerful Review & Decision
The Executive and Resident Directors will prayerfully review your application and interview. If they receive confirmation from the Holy Spirit, you will receive a formal acceptance letter with your intake date.
